Arting While Quarantined

· Traditional Art,Illustration,Fine Art,Drawing,Painting

Art has been an essential tool for me in keeping depressive thoughts at bay while being isolated at home. It's been quite inspiring to see what other fellow artists have been up to on social media, and I've decided to use this time to get creative as well.

The process for me has been a bit of a mixed bag - some days I'm inspired and motivated, and other days I can't seem to muster the energy to make one brush stroke. Regardless, I am now challenging myself to become more consistent in my art-making.

Below are some examples of my current works in progress:

Revisiting a painting in acrylic. It's a bit... different from what I'm used to making, but I'll make it work.

Working on pieces using different art supplies from ArtSnacks! You can see more of my progress on my Instagram page! https://www.instagram.com/chasityc.art/

Below is my current work in progress with the Tombow Bonus Box from ArtSnacks.

Sketch of two bracelets in graphite.
Detailed sketch of two bracelets in graphite.
Progress in ink. Soon to be colored with Tombow alcohol markers.

I hope to inspire some spark of creativity for someone else!
